The Canadian Council for Small Business and Entrepreneurship is a non-profit organization, was founded in 1979 and currently maintains it’s secretariat at Toronto Metropolitan University. 

The president is elected by members to serve a two-year, renewable term. 

The executive director (currently vacant) is selected and hired by the Board of Directors and generally serves on a part-time basis.
